Waste is not the end. It’s the beginning of a new idea!
Under this philosophy, students from Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia faced a creative challenge: to design urban light installations made entirely from recycled materials – objects that not only emit physical light, but also shine with ideas, lighting the path toward a more responsible and beautiful future for everyone.

This now international project was organized by the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Polytechnic University of Tirana, in collaboration with B4Students, TEG, and with the support of the Mane Foundation – as part of their shared commitment to promoting education, creativity, and sustainable development in our country.

Continuing its mission to support students and young talent, TEG offered young creators the opportunity to present their works in front of the public, transforming the shopping center into an open space for art, creativity, and innovation.

Throughout the month of October, thousands of visitors explored the full-scale installations displayed near TEG’s Green Entrance, while over 2,000 public votes were cast through QR codes placed next to each work — making visitors an active part of the evaluation process.

This edition brought together students, professors, and partner representatives in an atmosphere that blended art, collaboration, and awareness about the reuse of natural resources.

The Marketing Director of ACREM,  Joana Korimi, stated:

“These projects are not just events, but a beautiful journey — one that carries the courage to challenge traditional ways and to build a new culture: the culture of sustainability.
Every year, we witness the birth of new, bold, and meaningful ideas. Year after year, these creations have become small yet significant pieces in the mosaic of a greater vision — the vision of building a sustainable future and a more environmentally responsible society.
This perfectly reflects our own commitments as a center. In a world that faces daily challenges of pollution and overconsumption, we contribute — even in small ways — toward a better future. That is why we will continue to stay engaged in this direction, supporting similar initiatives that benefit our shared way of living.”

With each new edition, Recycle – Creative continues to expand and strengthen its role as a regional platform where art, education, and sustainability come together.
TEG reaffirms its position as a leading center — both in what it offers and in the initiatives it undertakes. TEG is managed by ACREM and is part of the BALFIN Group.
